Case Study - Chelsea Fan Day
The Brief
Chelsea FC approached us to help them to create a truly memorable experience for their fans at the end of the season.
The brief was to fill the whole first team pitch with games and activities and enhance the once in a lifetime experience for the fans who could walk on the hallowed turf of their club for the first time.
The Vision
As a 1 day event we proposed to activate a wide range of the games and activities held as stock rental items for our events.
Each event would have a slightly different theme but focussing on fun and participation for all ages and abilities (this was always going to be a family-focussed event).
We would create zones of activity including – Hi-Tech Zone, Inflatable Zone, Toddler Zone, Match Zone and Skills Zone to give the participants the feel of being at a football-style theme park.
The Results
Each of the Chelsea Fan Days that we produced and delivered were massive successes with tickets selling out immediately.
Feedback from all parties began with “wow” as they entered the pitch area and “that was awesome” as they left.
For the years when the club were trophy holders we also incorporated a giant signing wall outside the stadium that they could leave their messages on – BUT on the wall before the fans, the players had left their own messages of thanks etc.
